Philosophy: Patient at the Center of the Universe

Ramiclinic Residence on Krestovsky Island in St. Petersburg opened in October 2025. This new elite project is a natural continuation of the existing multi-specialty RAMI Clinic, which for almost 30 years has been a leader in St. Petersburg's private medicine cluster. Ramiclinic Residence realizes the concept of providing professorial-level medical services in the setting of a completely reconstructed historic D.L. Benkendorff mansion. This is why Ramiclinic Residence operates in an unusual format – a clinic-residence. While preserving the mansion's unique architectural features and authentic interior atmosphere, the primary focuses in project design and implementation were and remain medical service and patient safety.

Our philosophy is to give people more than they expect. We understand that any surgery is stressful, and our task is to allow the patient to go through the transformation journey without dropping out of their usual life rhythm. Ramiclinic Residence is first and foremost a clinic, but we haven't relegated comfort issues to the background.

Expertise: More Than Plastic Surgery

Our key operating principle is a multidisciplinary approach. For example, if a patient is interested in rhinoplasty, they undergo comprehensive examination to exclude ENT disease risk. The task is not just to create a beautiful nose, but to act proactively to preserve youth and health. Even when seeking aesthetic correction, we prioritize human health, providing the clinic's full resources to maintain achieved effects and ensure sustainable long-term outcomes.

Plastic surgery at Ramiclinic Residence is the flagship direction, while the clinic has built a closed ecosystem for comprehensive patient wellness. For example, within face and neck surgery, such directions as rhinoplasty, maxillofacial surgery, ENT surgery, facelift, scar correction, and neck and facial liposuction are implemented.

Plastic surgery requires comprehensive preparation. For serious interventions, patients begin preparation at least six months in advance, focusing on endocrine and cardiovascular system diagnostics and overall condition assessment. Additionally, considering the patient's skin anatomical features, cosmetologists collect cosmetic history and compile a genetic skin passport.

This approach allows achieving maximally prolonged results: correction effect preservation often extends to 10–15 years and more.

The clinic-residence offers all key face and body surgery directions, over forty of them.

The staff includes mammology specialists, including diagnosis and treatment of benign and malignant breast pathologies, as well as a team performing oncoplastic, reconstructive, and aesthetic breast and body operations. Complex interventions are practiced, when face, breast, and abdomen transformation can be performed during one surgical approach.

One profile direction is comprehensive post-pregnancy and post-childbirth transformation operations – so-called Mommy Makeovers. This is an entire block of aesthetic and reconstructive interventions allowing women to regain form and beauty lost during pregnancy, childbirth, and lactation. This approach is implemented in a single anesthesia format, allowing patients to achieve maximum aesthetic effect and shorten recovery period.

The clinic also develops endocrinology, gynecology, aesthetic gynecology, and venous surgery directions. Every patient undergoes serious preoperative examination including vascular scanning, endocrine and overall somatic status assessment. Gynecologists, immunologists, cardiologists, and other specialized specialists are involved in patient care.

Surgery Statistics

RAMI Clinic and Ramiclinic Residence surgeons perform over 2,300 operations annually. Of these, over one thousand are breast operations. Certainly, with the new clinic opening, total surgical intervention volume will increase.

Safety as Culture: From Preoperative Examination to Instant Response

At Ramiclinic Residence, safety is built into every process. Preoperative examination reveals all possible contraindications. We are not prepared to risk patient health and life for beauty. Under-examined patients don't enter our operating room. Patients wake from anesthesia with the feeling they've been on vacation.

Each room is equipped as an intensive care unit. Patient vital signs are monitored from anesthesia induction until discharge, and the monitoring system records every second of surgery. The anesthesiology team observes patient vital functions in real time, synchronizing data with surgical intervention stages. This approach allows promptly detecting and preventing any unexpected patient condition changes. All events are recorded and analyzed after surgery to improve anesthesia quality going forward. Anesthesiologists minimize risks through constant online access to monitoring data and anesthesia records. After emerging from anesthesia, the patient is transferred to the intensive care unit with the same monitor that tracked all vital functions during surgery and preoperative preparation. This ensures observation continuity and allows recording every patient condition change en route from operating room to intensive care unit. All this information is carefully documented and analyzed.

An on-call intensive care physician is in the clinic 24/7, and medical staff response time to patient call does not exceed 5–10 seconds.

Technologies: Intelligent Operating Rooms and Body Sculpting

Despite parallel import complexities, the cosmetology department, laboratory, diagnostic and treatment rooms have the most advanced equipment installed. But our main pride is smart operating rooms equipped at the level of leading global medical centers.

Our Technical Advantages:

  • In-house high-precision diagnostics laboratory equipped with innovative equipment and certified reagents. Thanks to this, patients can receive test results on the day of visit, and in Cito mode – within 30–60 minutes.
  • Intelligent sealed operating rooms with voice-controlled AI. Laminar flows ensure absolute sterility, while the video information center and 4K monitors enable endoscopic operations. Surgical lamps with built-in cameras allow remote master classes.
  • Ventilation systems ensuring room sealing. Systems are equipped with multilayer high-efficiency antibacterial filters, including HEPA filters. This guarantees maximum sterility and compliance with high cleanliness standards of classes A and B. Such ventilation creates laminar unidirectional airflow, minimizing the probability of microbes and other contaminants entering the surgical zone.
  • Latest-generation endoscopic towers with ICG technology, which provides fluorescent visualization for monitoring flap blood supply and sentinel lymph node biopsy, especially in breast cancer treatment.
  • X-ray operating room equipped with a special intraoperative computed tomograph (C-arm), allowing diagnostics and X-ray surgical interventions directly in the operating room. This increases surgical precision, improving outcomes and reducing complication risks.
  • Central sterilization department and blood transfusion department for maximum autonomy and quality control.
  • Hyperbaric chamber "Barooks" for oxygenation – the only one of this level in St. Petersburg. It's used for preparing for complex operations, postoperative rehabilitation (to accelerate tissue healing and minimize complications), and as an anti-aging therapy method.
  • Third-generation Vaser device for ultrasonic liposuction. It not only removes fat but also stimulates skin contraction through ultrasound, allowing creation of ideal body contours without excess incisions.
  • PAL Liposculptor (Power Assisted Liposuction) device for liposuction. High-frequency vibration effectively destroys fat cells without heating tissues.
  • 3D planning, use of VR and cellular technologies in cosmetology.
  • Cosmetology equipment from leading global manufacturers – original Heleo4, Vivace Virtue, Ultraformer MPT, Joule X, Indiba Elite NS devices and other platforms.

Team: Family, Not Just Employees

Team formation at Ramiclinic Residence is a multi-level process aimed at selecting not only renowned physicians but also like-minded individuals. Personnel selection was built on family principles: in addition to substantial professional experience and work results, candidates' human qualities were extremely important. To join the team, it's necessary not only to have a high level of skill and professionalism but also to possess qualities that contribute to creating a friendly and mutually supportive atmosphere within the collective.

We are a large family passionate about work and patient care. All operating surgeons work exclusively at the clinic – concurrent employment is permitted only in scientific activity, which I believe guarantees full involvement and responsibility.

We have assembled the medical elite of St. Petersburg and Russia with an impressive composition of professors, doctors, and candidates of medical sciences. The staff includes leading specialists in all directions: oncologists, breast specialists, endocrinologists, obstetrician-gynecologists, phlebologists, anesthesiologists, and many others. Many physicians, joining the clinic, quickly become recognized leaders, "stars" in their field. But Ramiclinic Residence also employs recognized experts with extensive experience and international recognition who continue developing their professionalism.

Charity – Mission Beyond Commerce

We are St. Petersburg residents, and charity is an integral part of our life. We couldn't overlook caring for our patients, and we have charitable projects – despite positioning in the premium segment. The "People in White" project aims to help patients in difficult medical situations – the clinic team provides comprehensive treatment without patient payment. Recently we performed successful complex breast reconstruction after three previous unsuccessful reconstructions, and the patient's condition is now consistently good.

Another project, "Surgery of Light," whose main goal is performing complex reconstructive operations for patients with congenital or acquired face and body pathologies. Operations are performed to restore ears, nose, airways, as well as post-burn surgery after major thermal injuries. Special attention is paid to breast reconstruction, both congenital anomalies and consequences of diseases or injuries. Operations are performed free of charge – this is real help for people with severe clinical cases who need qualified restoration.

The frequency of such operations is approximately one operation every two months. RAMI's charitable projects are over five years old and typically include lengthy and complex patient reconstruction and restoration processes.

International Patients: 20% of Flow and Full Care Cycle

Since the RAMI brand's birth, the number of foreign guests has been steadily growing, and patient geography covers dozens of countries, including the USA, Canada, Japan, Europe, Africa, and UAE.

Understandably, this path has become somewhat more difficult now, but those patients who really want to come to us do come. At the clinic, approximately 20% of patients are foreign tourists and expats. Those who once lived in Russia, then left, return for treatment or solving their health problems, and also recommend our clinic in their circles from old memory. Our doctors see patients in English, French, Portuguese, Serbian, Arabic, and other languages.

Most often they seek plastic surgery, cosmetology, mammology, gynecology, oncology, and bariatric surgery services. Foreign patients also come to me for second opinions, and one recent case particularly interested me. This was a patient from Israel who was denied breast cancer surgery without chemotherapy in her country. She came to us with the question: is it possible to start treatment with surgical intervention? I reviewed her case and concluded that chemotherapy in her situation was controversial and not mandatory. According to global standards, at her disease stage, surgery is not only possible but indicated as first-line treatment. While Israeli clinic specialists insisted on chemotherapy, we, acting as a second opinion, decided to operate without preliminary chemotherapy.

We pay special attention to our foreign patients' comfort, including medical apartments where every detail is considered. For example, apartments are equipped with bidet showers – this is very important for patients from Gulf countries, and they always highly value this service. Upon request, halal menu is prepared, fully complying with religious traditions. We always focus on individual patient needs and try to accommodate them maximally.

Since the clinic is located in Russia's cultural capital – St. Petersburg, we offer our patients the opportunity to visit museums, theaters, and exhibitions during rehabilitation, and sometimes even exclusive closed events. This creates a unique atmosphere where treatment combines with rich cultural experience – a real bonus for recovery and psychological comfort of our guests.

Regarding postoperative observation, especially for those living far away, we actively use telemedicine. We communicate with patients online via video calls, photo and video reports, carefully monitoring their condition. For foreign citizens, remote observation occurs exclusively via video conferences. And for our patients from other Russian cities who cannot stay with us long, close ties with colleagues throughout the country are established. We transfer our patients to them for further observation while maintaining constant contact and control. Moreover, for telemedicine assistance provision, the clinic has all necessary licenses and approvals, including experimental legal regime.

We have a truly enormous number of our close friends and colleagues whom we help. If they operated on someone and the patient flew to St. Petersburg, they also support us in practically all regions of the country. This is such an important point – continuity, experience transfer, and mutual assistance among good people. For example, a patient was operated on in Vladivostok, and her sutures were removed in St. Petersburg. Or vice versa: a patient had surgery with us, then needed to go to Sochi, and she asked where to go there. Although Sochi is far, we have doctor acquaintances there ready to help. The point of continuity and patient support is very important to us, and we ensure it maximally.

Just last month we operated on a patient from Sakhalin. She flew home, and we have a reliable doctor on Sakhalin who could observe her and remove sutures if necessary. Although in her case there was no need, she visited him once, and they sent video together confirming everything was fine. This point of continuity and patient support is very important to us. We try to ensure it maximally, even if we physically cannot be near patients in their region.

Speaking about how the clinic's pricing proposal looks in the international market, at the surgery planning stage foreign patients receive calculations in their familiar currency and can compare price proposals. In many cases, our proposal proves financially more advantageous.

Looking to the Future

The clinic development concept focuses on three pillars: perfecting newest progressive beauty techniques in aesthetic surgery, developing expert rehabilitation programs for maximally rapid patient return to active life, and age management strategy. We are forming new standards of high-tech plastic surgery and smart cosmetology based on the priority of each person's unique appearance. Our goal is for even the most complex operation to become a step toward dream fulfillment and new quality of life.
