Almazov National Medical Research Centre (NMRC) is the largest multidisciplinary institution of the Russian Ministry of Health in the Northwestern region of the country. The Center's clinical facilities include 1,530 inpatient beds. Its structure encompasses a perinatal center, oncology and radiology departments for both adults and children, as well as a medical rehabilitation unit.
The Center is actively engaged in scientific research and the development of advanced medical technologies. Healthcare research is carried out at the Institute of Heart and Vessels, the Institute of Experimental Medicine, the Institute of Genetics, Oncology and Hematology, the Professor A.L. Polenov Neurosurgical Institute, and other scientific departments.
